Pink is the color of babies- the color I most associate with babies. Every baby room I might have visited has a dab of pink in it- it may be their bibs or their little frocks or their talcum powder bottle.

Pink is also in many of our flowers.

Recently I saw  a book called ” Drive” written by an author called Pink. I couldn’t sit down to read it as I was not into motivational books at that time. It was the book recommended for our college Book Club.

And again, pink is the color of the Breast Cancer Awareness month. Pink ribbons.

Pink ribbons somehow transport me to childhood when the hair of little girls used to be plaited and held in place with pink ribbons.
